Laminated bamboo or wenge neck with Rails™, a patented precision fret system
The NS/Stick now features a laminated dark bamboo or wenge bolt-on neck with our distinctive Stick styled
rear beveled edges and flat surfaces (US trademark #2,138,101). The "Rails" are of 1/8" square stainless steel, a smaller size than on
our other Stick models. Keeping the neck straight is easy with our flush-to-the-rear truss
rod as on The Stick, exposed at the flat rear neck surface for quick and convenient adjustment
and for the most reliable counter-tension to the pull of the strings. The headless design allows
this guitar-bass model to be comfortably held more vertically for two handed tapping.
The NS/Stick is set up for low tapping action with the straight fretboard typical of all Stick
models, and with precision fret work to create a flat plain of rounded "Rail" tips as a playing
surface.
Inlays are of a "Recon Stone" material in white
pearl, black pearl, turquoise and bright green
glow (ivory by day).
