This eleven-song contemporary folk-rock album should be of interest to those Stick players who apply their talents toward composing and arranging and who gravitate toward a rhythm section role within a band. Big faith is a quartet of Stick, guitar, steel guitar and drums. The guitarist is also the singer and co-composed most of the songs with Fergus on Stick. Though tightly blended within the group, the music and feel of The Stick is evident throughout as Fergus' integrated two-hand drive in the rhythm and his expansive, ranging harmonic structures in the song arrangements.
